1. Introduction to Hindi Vowels (स्वर) and Consonants (व्यंजन)

In this lesson, we will learn about the two primary types of letters in the Hindi language: स्वर (vowels) and व्यंजन (consonants).

  • स्वर (Vowels): Vowels are sounds that are produced without any obstruction of airflow in the vocal tract. The Hindi vowels are:

    • अ, आ, इ, ई, उ, ऊ, ए, ऐ, ओ, औ, अं, अः
  • व्यंजन (Consonants): Consonants are sounds produced with some obstruction of the airflow in the vocal cords or by articulating with the mouth. The Hindi consonants include:

    • क, ख, ग, घ, च, छ, ज, झ, ट, ठ, ड, ढ, त, थ, द, ध, प, फ, ब, भ, म, य, र, ल, व, श, ष, स, ह, ज्ञ

2. Correct Pronunciation of Vowels (स्वर)
